Flight Schedule Changes in HELiO - Updating in Trips

When a HELiO booking containing a Sabre PNR and is pushed from HELiO to Trips, Trips will automatically retrieve any missing flight information from Sabre/Amadeus (if available) that is not present in HELiO (e.g. e-ticket numbers, EMD information, seats, etc.).

It may take several minutes for information from the GDS to be updated in Trips

This will work for flights added using:
  1. Grab PNR;
  2. Search & Book; and
  3. any manually entered flights when Source = Sabre or Amadeus and the PNR have been entered correctly

What do you do if there is a schedule change to your PNR?

  1. Any changes that occur in your PNR (time change, airport change, date change, etc.) must be reflected/updated in your HELiO booking.
  2. Use the Refresh PNR action in HELiO to refresh the PNR details, or, if a refresh is not possible, the PNR will need to be detached and added again to the HELiO booking, then sent to Trips to update your itinerary.
  3. Update an MPI/MBI component with the updated details as reflected in Sabre/Amadeus.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
  1. Always verify that your Trip has been updated with changes.
  2. It is highly recommended that you advise your customers to always contact the airline to confirm their scheduled departure time 24 hours prior to their flight.
