Traveller Collaboration
Traveller Collaboration (if enabled in your Preferences) allows your Travellers to add segments and Notes to their Trip via the Web View or Mobile App.
This feature is available for Envoyage, Travel Associates, Travel Managers, Independents, Liberty Travel, Flight Centre Canada, and LDV.
Web View colours/branding will vary depending on your brand. Generic branding is used for illustrative purposes in this article.
Web View
On the Web View, Travellers can click the Add To Trip button near the bottom right-hand corner to add additional bookings or Notes.
If your Traveller adds any segments, those segments will automatically sync to your Trip in the Trip Publisher. Travellers cannot remove or edit your created components, even with Traveller Collaboration enabled. Although you can edit/delete a segment added by a Traveller, it is recommended that you advise your Traveller of any changes made to segments they have added.
NOTES added by a Traveller via collaboration:
- will only be visible to the travellers on the web view or within the mobile app.
- will NOT be viewable to you (the Travel Consultant)
- will NOT display on the PDF
Mobile App
In the Mobile App, Travellers can open their Trip and click the Add icon in the bottom right-hand corner to add additional bookings or Notes.
If your Traveller adds any booking segments, those segments will automatically sync to your Trip in the Trip Publisher. Travellers will not be able to remove or edit segments you've created, even with Traveller Collaboration enabled.
NOTES added by a Traveller via collaboration:
- will only be visible to the traveller on the web view or within the mobile app.
- will NOT be viewable to you (the Travel Consultant)
- will NOT display on the PDF
Once the Add icon has been selected, your Traveller can choose the type of itinerary segment they would like to add to their Trip.
The segment will populate in their Trip once all required details have been entered and saved.
The mobile app experience in the Flight Centre App will differ from the images shown above.
The Traveller Collaboration feature is only availalbe for travellers. Advisors who have logged into the mobile app will not see the option to add segments.
The PDF attached below, "Itinerary Guide for Travellers," can be downloaded to share with your customers. It provides an overview of the features available in their digital itinerary.
