VTO Ultimate

Import Virtual Travel Office (VTO) Ultimate bookings into Trips by following the steps outlined below.
This partner integration is available for Independent brands only.
Setup is required for the VTO Ultimate integration to work within your account. Please email support.trips@umapped.com to request access to this integration.

Once you have created the trip sectors, either via import or manually:
  1. Select the Itinerary tab in Ultimate
  2. Select the sectors you want to post to TRIPS (using the check boxes)
  3. Select EXPORT TO TRIPS
    1. a success notification will populate


Launch TRIPS from Home to log into your TRIPS account.
  1. Select Booking Inbox from the left menu.
  2. On the Booking Inbox tab, enter the VTO booking number in the Keyword field (e.g. VTO-514 or 514) and hit Enter or click Search.
  3. Click the Options icon (3 vertical dots) and select Create a new Trip (to start a new trip with this VTO booking) or Add To Trip (to add this VTO booking to a trip you've already created).



From within a Trip, you can follow the same process from within the Import Bookings menu.



TIP: If changes are made to your VTO booking, export again to Trips to make sure changes are reflected in your itinerary!
When sending your VTO Ultimate booking to TRIPS, you must always select all the sectors you want to appear in your TRIPS itinerary. Only the selected secorts will display.
For example: if your booking contains five sectors and you send your booking to TRIPS and select all, all five sectors will be included when you import. If you subsequently export to TRIPS and only check 3 sectors, the two sectors that you did not select will be removed from your TRIPS itinerary.
Any additional export of your VTO booking to TRIPS will automatically override any manual edits you have made to the segment directly in TRIPS. We suggest adding additional booking information/descriptions using a Note segment to avoid these edits being overwritten when updates are exported.
