Trip Building Workflow: Amadeus PNR Import

This article applies to the following Independent brands:
  1. Flight Centre Independents South Africa
All other Independent brands should queue their Sabre PNRs to Trips. PNR Import should only be used if you are using another GDS.
  1. Queuing (importing) PNRs from Sabre
All other brands should send their HELiO booking to TRIPS for itinerary creation, and PNR details should be in the HELiO booking.
The Amadeus PNR Import feature allows you to quickly import air segments from your Amadeus PNR into a Trip.


Within a trip that you have created, click Import Bookings and select the PNR Import tab.



Enter the Amadeus PNR and passenger's last name, select Amadeus from the GDS dropdown menu options, and click Import.


Only Air segments within the PNR will be imported into TRIPS.

Frequently Asked Question

What do I do if there are updates/changes to the PNR?

If a PNR has changed after it has been added to Trips, re-import the PNR to update the segment details.
Should you wish to input additional details to an imported PNR in your Trip, we suggest adding them as separate notes or components so your additions are not overwritten when PNRs are re-imported.
