Trip Building Workflow: GDS / PNR Import

This article applies to the following Independent brands:
- Flight Centre Independents
- Travel Associates at Home/Franchise
- Envoyage AU
- Travel Managers
- Link Travel Group
- World Travellers
- Envoyage US
All other brands should send their HELiO booking to TRIPS for itinerary creation, and PNR details should be in the HELiO booking.

Independent brands should queue their Sabre PNRs to Trips. PNR Import should only be used if you are using another GDS.

All other brands should send their HELiO booking to TRIPS for itinerary creation, and PNR details should be in the HELiO booking.

Create Trips by importing PNRs from Sabre Tripcase or Travelport (Apollo, Galileo or Worldspan).
Within a trip, click Import Bookings and select PNR Import.
Enter the PNR and passenger's last name, select the GDS from the dropdown menu options, and click Import.

Sabre PNRs must have an email address in the PE field of the PNR for the booking to be accessible via PNR Import.
Frequently Asked Question
What do I do if there are updates/changes to the PNR?
If a PNR has changed after it has been added to Trips, re-import the PNR to update the segment details.

Should you wish to input additional details to an imported PNR in your Trip, we suggest adding them as separate notes or components so your additions are not overwritten when PNRs are re-imported.
