Trips Itinerary | Segment Order

Segments on the Trips Itinerary will now display in the order defined in HELiO from the Itinerary View. Previously, segments would display in chronological order of date and time.

Some segments, such as transfers, don’t include a time and were often displayed out of order (e.g. transfer showing after hotel check-in instead of before).  This enhancement will also resolve the issue of flights crossing the International Dateline being displayed after hotel check-in.

Segments can be reordered in Trip Publisher, however subsequent pushes from HELiO will override manual changes in Trip Publisher.

NOTE: Adding segments directly in Trip Publisher may cause the itinerary to default back to chronological order.

Trip Contact | HELiO R11

When sending a HELiO booking to Trips, HELiO assigns the Trip Contact as the lead guest. The lead guest is the name and email added to the Trips itinerary/quote.

With the HELiO R11 release, the ability to add a Non-Travelling Trip Contact was introduced. HELiO will assign the Non-Travelling Trip Contact as the lead guest since they are the owner/contact for the trip, which in turn is the name/email that will be added to Trips and receive the Trips itinerary.

There are two ways in which you can add additional guests to the Trips itinerary if necessary:

1. Launch Trips and pull up your HELiO booking. Once you are within the itinerary, click on the Travellers icon in the left side menu; then click Add Traveller and enter the required details.

2. From the web view, you or the Trip Contact can click the Share icon.

Enter the email and name of the traveller and click Share Trip.
