The Trips team is excited to announce the launch of an AI-powered Stays summarizer in the digital itinerary to improve the customer experience, driving customer retention and business value through professional, relevant, and engaging documentation
What's new?
Trips now allows customers to generate streamlined property descriptions for Stays, highlighting the most relevant information in a quick, easy, and to-the-point format. The AI summarizer processes supplier data and manual entries to deliver consistent, professional descriptions that travellers can easily scan and understand.
This feature will be rolled out to FCB and TA across all regions, starting with 5% of traffic and increasing progressively based on summarized data validation, customer feedback and feature adoption.
Why Does This Matter?
Travellers no longer need to wade through lengthy, irrelevant descriptions. The AI Summarizer prioritizes key details—amenities, location highlights, and important fees—making itineraries easier to navigate.
Reduced Write-Offs
By surfacing critical information like city taxes and legally required fees that were previously buried or missing, we help prevent billing surprises and reduce costly write-offs.
Less Manual Work for Agents
Manually entered Stays properties now receive the same professional treatment as platform-sourced bookings, reducing time spent formatting and entering/adjusting information.
