Adding a Flight

You can add a flight segment anytime if you are not importing from HELiO, a GDS, a tour operator, or an email confirmation.
Flight Centre, Liberty Travel, and Travel Associates consultants should be sending their HELiO bookings to Trips to populate trip segments/bookings.
Changes to flight details must be updated in HELiO, and the booking must be sent back to TRIPS to update.

Click the Add icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen and select Flight.


Start by typing the airline code. You can select it from the drop-down list if it's in the database.


Enter the flight number, departure and arrival airports and times, and booking number or airline record locator. Click Add To Trip to save.


Next, you can optionally add Passenger(s), Pricing, and Cancellation Policy information, upload files and add any necessary details.  


E-ticket, Seat, Class, Membership #, and Meal info are imported/entered under Passengers.


Passenger initials will display in a circle icon at the bottom of the flight segment. Clicking on a passenger's initials will open the segment details drawer to view additional passenger information.


You can edit your Flight segment anytime by clicking View Details. Click the Edit icon or any of the Add prompts.
